Since 2007,

Creator's Voice has been serving children and families in New York City.

As Creator's Voice finishes our 20th year of service, this milestone is an opportunity to celebrate the past and re-affirm what we’re here for. In 2026, our team spent time in reflection to clarify our mission and vision. Our heart for serving the community has not changed -- but we're grateful for the chance to put clearer words to what our assignment is.

Our Team

Alice Tam

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Since its founding, Alice has overseen youth and family programming, organizational strategy, and financial administration.

She holds a Doctor of Ministry in Ministry Leadership from Liberty University and a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. She also has a B.A. and a B.Th. degree from Manitoba, Canada.

Shirley Huang

Co-Founder & Board President

As a co-founder, Shirley has served Creator's Voice's after-school and youth programming for two decades, providing education, mentorship, and counseling for hundreds of children and families in the Chinatown community.

She holds a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary and B.A. from Hunter College.

Amelia Qin

After-School Program Teacher

Amelia has worked with us since 2021. She is patient with children and is pursuing a degree in special education at Brooklyn College.

Mickey Lin Kim

After-School Program Teacher

Mickey supports our after-school students with academic help and positive guidance. She graduated from Yale University with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and East Asian Studies and a certificate in Education Studies, and is pursuing a master’s in Education Policy at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Sandy Zhang

Board Member

Sandy has served children and families in New York City’s Chinatown community for more than 20 years. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College; she now supports Asian mental health in Flushing through her work with a nonprofit organization.

John Park

Consultant

John has worked in youth development in NYC as an educator, civil servant (Mayor’s Office), and nonprofit consultant. His heart is to see young people find the truest healing, belonging, and fulfillment. John holds a B.A. in Statistics from Yale University.
